Hockey in England!
So Brian could continue his quest travelling the world with his hockey stick, we quickly jumped on a Dutch airline (KLM, which was an all-you-can-drink-Heineken flight) to England. Got off the plane in London and immediately caught a snow-delayed train to Plymouth. We arrived in Plymouth where friends Ben and Corrine met us at the station with 10 minutes until hockey-game time. Needless to say, England was awesome, and the best weather of our trip (shocking, I know). We wandered around Plymouth on a beautiful sunny day and saw the Plymouth steps (where the Mayflower set sail on its way to America), and sat by the ocean and drank hot soup. We attended a wassailing festival and took a ferry to Devon, the next region over from Plymouth. Great memories and lovely scenery. The hockey (while there are many better rinks) definitely satisfied Brian’s craving! Enjoy the pics…Cheerio!

- Felt a little like the Wickerman movie
- Left Plymouth to check out London very briefly…
